[Hotel Review] U Hotel Penang @ Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia

My mom's family back to Penang when we attended my cousin's wedding during the Christmas holiday on last year, 2015. We are looking for the cheap hotel which are near Bayan Lepas in Penang. I found out that Bayan Lepas get new hotel get 2 stars, "U Hotel Penang", that make me curious what are inside that hotel! My family and I drove to Bayan Lepas from the Penang bridge so easy only, no need go to the Georgetown, Penang city that always have traffic jam.

Before we reached the U Hotel Penang, I saw the Penang International Sports Arena and Queensbay Mall just near the hotel, but we need to drive there. My mom managed to park her car at the outside the U Hotel Penang. Their parking space are free and available for the hotel custromers only. We really love a very beautiful lobby with cute drawing frame photos, and decoration of Christmas holiday.



We checked in the hotel almost 3pm. Luckily, we booked it via Agoda.com and paid RM191.65 for a night only! My family and I enjoyed to spend a night in this hotel, which are near the shoplots and TESCO mall. My mom just walked to Tesco extra in 5 minutes only, from the U Hotel Penang!

We given a room card to access the lift by going to our third floor only, make us feel safer, comfortable to stay in the hotel with their security. We see a mural art and colorful wall when we walked to our room.

They offered free WiFi, coffee makers, two water bottles, tea & coffee packs, and LCD TVs with satellite channels. The bathroom also nice, make us enjoyed to bath in hot water. 



 Room cleanliness is satisfying. My window of room also facing the shoplots and roads. We enjoyed to use WiFi to access the Internet so not bad! I see two cute drawing of pictures at the wall. And there are a bakery cafe at downstair. I not yet try it because I missed this cafe as I was busy to spend time with my cousins in the Queensbay Mall. Next time, my family and I will visit my hometown, Penang again when we get school holidays or weekends.
