Chew Chew Chow Tofu is BEST Stinky Tofu in Restaurant Long House Puchong


The Chew Chew Chow Tofu is very bad smelly but the taste is delicious because it is soft tofu with crispy skin with chili sauce and cabbage, so yummy! Normally, the Chew Chew Chou Tofu can be found in the Night Market (Pasar Malam) in Sri Petaling, Kepong and Taman Connaught in Malaysia. Now, they want to open new branch in the restaurant Puchong. Great! I really like to eat it so very nice when my mom and I was dining in the Restaurant LongHouse which are located in Taman Tasik Prima, Puchong. It just next to The Wharf Residence Condo only. Never MISS to get a very popular Chew Chew Chow, BEST stinky tofu in Restaurant LongHouse when you pass by Puchong!


You no need go to the night market so far and it is hard for you to find few spaces to park your car since many people like to go to the busy market! It is EASY for you to get a very stinky tofu come from the Restaurant Long House in Puchong if you come from Subang Jaya, Cyberjaya, Sunway or Shah Alam!


My mom and I spotted the Chew Chew Chow Tofu stall can be found at outside the Restaurant Long House, which is hidden in the Puchong, then we checked-in and welcomed by Dan Sim to visit around the food court in this restaurant. He is best hardworking guy who treated us so very well, thank you! The staff also smiled so very much. She explained to us about how the tofu can be the stinky, with their own special recipe!

Cheese Chew Chew Chow Tofu

There are two types of Chew Chew Chow Tofu are Original and Cheese. You can choose which is your favourite! I prefer the original chew chew chow with pickled cabbage and chili sauce because it is very tasty tofu. I felt okay after I tried to eat the stinky cheese tofu with the cheese sauce and mayo. My mom really don't like to smell something, just make us recall that we are in the garbage room so dirty. But, my mom hold her breathe to eat it. After this, she was okay and said it is very delicious. My sister and I love to eat more so we already be familiar with this smelly. Worth to eat it!

If you want to eat 4 pieces, just priced RM4 only! You can get 12, RM12 or 20 pieces - RM20 only. We feel this is cheaper because one tofu - just RM1.00 only, great! No worries, you want more as you can buy or you can buy a lot for your family and friends! You can get the best stinky tofu in this stall which are open from 6pm to 9pm on everyday. This is very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED snack so why not try this stinky tofu after your dinner or lunch!

Mostly local hawkers served some local food which come from different states; KL, Penang, Malacca, Sarawak and Sabah as you can found out that Puchong can get a very special and authentic local food, such as Sarawak Kolo Mee, Nyonya Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rice Pyramid, Hokkien Mee, Bak Kut teh and Steamed Fish Head, that I suggested you MUST TRY IT OUT!





First time, I love to eat Sarawak Kolo Mee! The Sarawak Kolo Mee looks like handmade dry noodle with the minced meat and char siew. It is very tasty so awesome. You can order Sarawak Kolo Mee - big (RM6.50) or small (RM6).It have two version; dry or soup, just depends on what you like to eat. If you love Laksa, then you can try Sarawak Laksa. I want it again when next time I'll come! You'll find it is really nice when you felt a very soft noodles in your mouth! That is why it is one of all-time dishes which are loved by different races in Sarawak!

Nyonya Nasi Lemak with Spicy Squid - I like it!

Long time I don't eat Nyonya Nasi lemak...I still miss my grandma who cook it before since my family and I also born in half Nyonya/ Hokkien generation from Penang. I'm happy to see this original Nyonya Nasi lemak is being served so special, just RM 3 only! If you want to add something like fried chicken, or rendang or curry chicken or spicy squid, then it become RM 6.50. If you want two dishes; squid and rendang chicken at same time, this price is RM8.50.

Local Chicken Rice from Sabah

I noticed that the pyramid-shaped rice with roasted chicken served so unique. I feel the roasted chicken's taste is good and soft with delicious sauce. Not bad. I learned that they love to bring the special chicken rice  which are best recommended dish in Sabah for the local Malaysian in Puchong and KL to try it. The pyramid shaped fragrance rice also nice too.

  Fried Hokkien Mee

Fried Hokkien Mee is one of my sister's favourite food! She always order this when the restaurant got sell Fried Hokkien Mee. The noodles is stir-fried with thick dark soy sauce and pork lard that will bring out the aroma of this dish. Usually it is noodle only but my sister prefer meehoon mixed with noodles which will have a better texture and balanced taste. I felt that the thick noodle to bite so great because it filled with dark soy sauce, are very nice aroma and sweet, also added the pork lard, prawns, and cabbages.

I really love Bak Kut Teh so very much because the excellent taste of bak kut teh and fragrance of pork, so I always like to smell the herbal aroma. The taste lingers at the back of your throat, making you want more.  With every bite of meat, you will love this different layer of pork bathed with herbal aroma of soup in your mouth. So delicious! 

Steamed Bean Paste Fish 

Normally I really like the steamed spicy bean paste or asam nyonya fish. Sometimes, my sister prefer the steamed with black bean sauce. In restaurant longhouse, this steam soong fish is not enough spicy, but this steamed fish head with bean paste is tasty because the fish is very soft with silky skin. This simple savory steamed fish head get the bean paste sauce with fragrant steamed rice is good enough for your dinner meal.

Steamed Sour and Hot Fish

My mom and I used to eat a lot of garlic which are top on the steamed fish. We can see it is very beautiful steamed sour and hot fish is thai-style cooking! It is not very sweet and sour, and also have  cilantro leaves. When I ate it, this fish is very soft with smell of aroma garlic! It is healthy choice of cooking for your family! You choose different sizes; Big: RM 32, Medium: RM 30, Small: RM 28). Then you like to choose which is your favorite of the steamed fish head.



The Long House restaurant also provided a lot variety of food to choose, just from one root; the local hawkers who served their popular local food which come from Malacca, Sabah, Sarawak, and others. Surely it will satisfy your hunger. If you ask me which is one best? You MUST TRY Chew Chew Chow Tofu Puchong before/after your lunch or dinner!

Yes, Hong Kong and Taiwan get worst bad smelly tofu! Now, they told me if you don't like the bad smelly tofu then they make less smelly tofu so you can eat :)
