How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

Your mobile phone is very important to you, right? Normally, deaf people must bring it when you go to anywhere. They always use SMS in their daily life. If your mobile phone steal already, how? So, you need to know your mobile phone serial number on your phone before your mobile phone steal..

You try to check your mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. For example, Serial Number xxxxxxxxxx appear in your screen. Then, you write it down and keep it somewhere safe.

When your mobile phone get stolen, you can ask your parents or sibling to call your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.

You cannot get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

You better to make prepared it than be sorry.. :D

first of all, i don't understand why u said "to all deaf" ppl, cause this is important for all people.

second, the number you've said is not correct. it should be this,

*#06#

and not otherwise.

Cheers

I think that for normal people, they sure know how to do.

Maybe Deafs not know about what are they doing or not aware about their mobile phone stolen..

They have to borrow hp from the people then sms their parent and relatives..

Hi,

I don't understand how to do this. Can you please provide instructions as step by step? It'd be really helpful and greatly appreciated!

Great idea about protecting our phones from being used after stolen.
