Red Cliff 2 Review

Red Cliff, alternatively known as The Battle of Red Cliff, is a two-episode Chinese epic film based on the Battle of Red Cliffs and events during the Three Kingdoms period in Ancient China. The film is directed by John Woo and stars Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Zhang Fengyi, Chang Chen, Hu Jun, Lin Chi-ling and Zhao Wei. It tells the story of 3 kingdoms and a battle at Red Cliffs. Cao Cao wants to rule all three kingdoms and has the largest army. His only motive is greed. He has put Liu Bei on the run and Liu Bei and Sun Quan for a truce to beat Cao Cao. They are still outnumbered, but have the love of their people, two very astute military strategists, and very loyal champion fighter generals on their side. When it continue to the Red Cliff 2 movie, Cao Cao decides to attack from the sea, he is lured into fighting with Zhao Wei and his alliance at the sea battle where he is defeated...

If you don't understand about the Red Cliff- part 2, you try to watch the part 1. Red Cliff is seriously very well produced and it really can compete with those Hollywood produced movies. In fact it may even be better than some… Directed by John Woo, you bet this is a good movie! Wow! This movie is about Chinese history, particularly in those days when the three kingdoms existed in China!

I like their action because it is an interesting historical drama with great action shots and intelligence of stratgery! For example, Zhuge Liang must think about how to get back 300 arrows in 3 days and they defeat Cao Cao by using the fire battle with Cao Cao's ships! I like the character, Zhuge Liang, the master tactician who was a farmer - a simply brilliant strategist who helped Zhao Wei and Liu Bie & his brothers because most of chinese people knew him as most brilliant scholar in the Three Kingdom history...I highly recommend you to catch this movie!

I surprised when this battle looks same like the sea battle which I played in the Dynasty Warriors game (GBA)!
