Top 5 Favorite Penang Food in Sisters Place, Pacific Place @ Ara Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

Miss Your Favorite, Char Koay Teow or Hokkien Char Mee? You cannot back to your hometown to grab the food since you have a job in Klang Valley, right?  No worries! You can go head to the Sisters Place Kopitiam at Ara Damansara or USJ, Subang Jaya, and enjoy your Penang delights!

I surprised that Mr. Eugene's family are managed two branches named Sisters Char Koay Teow, USJ 16 in Subang Jaya and newly Sisters Place opened in Ara Damansara. We learned that Eugene's father' sisters also cook a very delicious Char Koay Teow and Penang food with their own secret recipes, that is why they named "Sisters Char Koay Teow".

My family and I invited to try the Sisters Place which are located at the Pacific Place next to Evolve Mall, Ara Damansara. I can see their environment are very simple and clean. It make the old and young people felt comfortable to dine so enjoyable. They also provided free wifi for the profsional guys who need to work on their laptop so nice. First, I choose which is my top 5 favorite Penang food from Sisters Place Kopitiam.

1. Sisters Special Char Koay Teow - RM13.90

Sisters' Char Koay Teow is their special with the fresh ingredients, just like tasty prawns, cockles and squids. When you order this, you can choose your favourite of type mee , eg. Mee, Bihun, Koay Teow Mee, Mee Bihun or Koay Teow Bihun. The texture of seafood are soft and fresh as I like it! I felt that they used the sweet of dark soy sauce and extra oyster sauce. As you know, Char Koay Teow is most popular dishes among Malaysians of all races. That is why their sisters come up with their own verison of ‘Char koay teow’ to make every customer who fell love with their special "Char Koay Teow", thumb up!

2. Curry Chee Cheong Fun - RM8.50

In Penang, I used to eat Penang-style chee cheong fun as my favourite. I also like curry chee cheong fun in KL too, but it depends on my taste of sauce. Sometimes, it is thick or dry or wet sauce. They gave me to try the Sisters' Curry Chee Cheong, with extra dash of sesame seeds and curry chicken... it is success to make me love this taste of sweet mix with spicy and very flavourful, because the curry chicken is from home-cooked secret ingredients! I just wish that they add more tau pok because it is favored by everyone in Penang. I feel that the smooth, silky steamed rice noodle version are different, and easy to eat, unlike hand-rolled rice noodle from Penang.

3. Penang Curry Mee - RM8.50

I really love this Curry mee, it is not very spicy. They tried to do their own version, curry mee more like Penang-style curry mee. The curry sauce added with the coconut milk with the ingredients of fresh prawns, cockles, tau pok, squid and taugeh.

4. Sisters Fried Rice - RM8.50

My mom thought that the fried rice is normal. But, I really like to eat fried rice so much because it is soft-rice and easy to eat with lots of chopped prawns, long beans and egg. I finished it already!

5. Penang Hokkien Char Bee Hoon - RM8.50

Yummy! All best are you MUST Try when you come to Sisters Place Kopitiam, Ara Damansara. We ordered the drinks too, such as Herbal Longan, Cham C, and Kopi O. All prices around RM 2.50 - 3.00, not bad!

How about the fast-breakfast for the weekdays? No time to do your own breakfast after you wake up? You better to get Sisters' Nasi Lemak can served as breakfast, lunch or dinner through the price is very cheap when you just passed by this Sisters Place Kopitiam by car or walking from your condo! There are Nasi Lemak (RM3.50) without Chicken and Nasi Lemak with Chicken (RM7.50) - which you can choose one.
