How to Train your Dragon 2 now in Bahasa Malaysia!

As Hary Raya is just around the corner, FOX Movies Premium ad FOX Movies Premium HD (Astro channels 413 and 433) will be screening the highly acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon 2, voiced-over in Bahasa Malaysia!

Last week I was invited to this special screening at GSC NU Sentral along with other children from Pertubuhan Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR) and Rumah Titian Kaseh. We were amongst the first to watch the movie dubbed in Bahasa Malaysia on the big screen together with the voiceover casts in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

FOX International Channels has enlisted a cast of multi-racial talents consisting of local A-list clebrities to voice the characters of the hit animated movie, making this the very first of its kind,, which clearly represents the diversity in Malaysia as a surprise for all.

Among them include actor and award winning singing sensation, Mohd Hafiz Bin Mohd Suip, who was also the winner of Akedemi Fantasia 7, who voiced the lead character Hiccup and local songbird Sasha Saidin lent her voice to the character Astrid. Meanwhile, MIX fm announcer Prem Shanker, Astro Quest third runner-up Yuii Chan and artist Hafizudin Fadzil voiced the characters of Gobber, Valka and Stoick respectively.

In courtesy of FOX International Channel, the children also received exclusive merchandises of the movie and were treated to a buka puasa session after the screening. We were fortunate enough to be able to join them in this joyous occasion!

This is the first time I watch an animated movie in Bahasa Malaysia, and it was as entertaining as the original movie! It was dubbed accurately and i still feel teary over the sad moments in the movie even though it is in Bahasa Malaysia.

After the movie, we were ushered to the specially prepared area in the GSC for buka puasa. The food were served in the buffet style and the children are excited to take the food to start their buka puasa. The children are very happy to be able to meet up with their favourite movie casts and get their signatures!

We also received our unique picture with the How to Train Your Dragon 2 design from FOX International Channel and popcorns in courtesy of foodpanda! We took alot of the popcorn back and it was delicious with the sweet caramel taste!

How to Train You Dragon 2 dubbed in Bahasa Malaysia will premiere on FOX Movies Premium and FOX Movies Premium HD (Astro channels 413 and 433) on 18 July 2015 at 8.15pm. Besides How to Train Your Dragon 2, Malaysian will also be entertained with various blockbuster movies across various channels by FOX International Channel.
