Movie Review: X-Men: Days of Future Past @ E-Curve, Mutiara Damansara

Summary: The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past - to save our future. The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

From start, I really thought they used time-travel machine to rewrite history of the past time! But, I surprised that Kitty Pryde has her time power to send Wolverine back to 1973 and hopefully restore balance by preventing Mystique to commit her crime, so it won't make the X-Men's history become worst. The human scientists want to create a weapon-robot prototype, called "Sentinels" with used Mystique's DNA, make stronger so more than X-men and mutants!

Magneto decides to go full-on villain and just go on TV with his hostage Nixon and tell everyone that mutants are here to take over! It confused because Magneto and Mystique took different path to create their selfish desire in their own way! Professor always hope that he be with Magneto and Mystique to become close friends again, but at end, they are on the way to different path because they took their responsibility on their own path.

My favorite scene in the movie is the Quicksilver’s breath-taking prison break. With his power, Quicksilver moves around a room much faster than his friends do action, catching bullets, change the movenment of policemen, eating dessert as he enjoy so much! I liked his action is very funny! Too bad they didn’t bring Quicksilver to last ending!

The ending are about the future Sentinels have located the X-Men’s hideout and start re-killing them in really entertaining ways. But, Magneto don't use more power to fight with Sentinels because he is very old? Hmm, this movie are okay only. No wonder that Wolverine be main character again, due to Wolverine's very popular and famous in X-Men movies!
