Game Review: Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love

Sakura Wars - So Long, My Love is essentially a story-driven RPG strategy game. You will play as Lieutenant Shinjiro Taiga, a young man recently hired to lead the Star Squadron of New York against the evil dark forces that have shown up there. Your main objective in the game is to prove your worth to your squad both in and out of battle. As the new guy to both the group and the USA in general, that means figuring out not only how the New York Combat Revue works and fights, but also how to cultivate relationships with people in your new foreign home.

In the game, you play as the captain of a specially created unit of female solders with high levels of spiritual energy to fight the forces of evil in large, steam powered robots. You must not waste your spiritual energy when you went to battle with the enemies.

First time, I play the characters in battle system which have two main parts; ground combat and air combat since I am acted as Captain New York combat. I really enjoy this because this is very easy to control the members's machine robot suits when the members are separating in two places; ground and sky places. The machine robot suits can transform into jet fighters to take the fight to the sky.

You need to focus on building relationships with your group members at the Musical Theater. If not, they will not like you! I am surprised when many girls like Shinjiro in the game so you can date who is your favorite girl and you collect your beautiful photos. Weird Shinjiro, he like to keep all girls' photos in his collection photos? :D When each mission is complete, the members in musical theater always dancing and singing..so beautiful, like you watching anime! I am surprised about Gemini Sunrise have two personalities in her body! I think Gemini have two sides: light and darkness, right. I am sad about Gemini - darkness need to sleep so deeply, but not mean the darkness will disappear from her body. It still be stay with her.

More amazing about the theater is actually the secret base of operations for the New York Combat! The members also can share their spiritual energy to attack the evil machines with their best attack! Cool. Each member have the different skills, like heal your member, using swords, and others.

This story this is actually entertaining and enjoyable. I think that the Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love is cool than the Sakura Wars Taisen - Japan Imperial Assault Force because they make the characters are amazing and cool, maybe because their name is good and this story make me understand about their personality are different when I complete on every chapter! The Sakura Wars is very famous anime that I watched before.
