Every Malaysian will be wishing each other Happy Merdeka. It has been 53 years since we have our own independent day stretching back to 31 August 1957.What does Merdeka means to you?
In Malaysia, many different of races; Malay, Chinese, Indian, and many other ethnic groups acted as ONE people also stand together so we must respect each other, go beyond tolerance and build trust among each other and build trust between various ethnic groups. That is why it say as "1Malaysia".
I heard that 16 September as public hoilday for the West and East Malaysia, because the govenment announced about the September 16, 1963 as Malaysia Day so this is first time we will get "Malaysia Day" hoilday on 16 September 2010. :)
